Do you do concrete and masonry repair?

Yes. We repair cracked or sunken concrete steps, walkways, patios and driveway sections, and damaged block, brick and stone walls. Alfonso looks at why it failed (soil, drainage, roots or a thin base) and tells you honestly whether a repair will last or a section should be replaced. The estimate is free.

Can you fix just one cracked or settled section?

Often, yes. We can cut out and re-pour a single section, reset sunken steps, or rebuild part of a wall. New concrete won't match old concrete perfectly, so on very visible areas we may suggest replacing the full panel.

Is it concrete or cement?

Cement is one ingredient. What gets installed is concrete, and the mix matters for strength and finish.

When can I walk and park on my new concrete driveway?

Foot traffic comes first, usually after a few days. Cars wait longer, since concrete keeps gaining strength as it cures, and weather changes the timing. We give you specific timing for your pour before we leave the site.

Will my concrete driveway crack?

All concrete shrinks a little as it cures, so hairline cracks can happen. We control where they go with correctly spaced control joints, a compacted, well-drained base, the right slab thickness and reinforcement where the site calls for it, so cracks follow planned straight lines instead of running across the middle.

How do you keep water from pooling on the driveway?

We set the grade so water runs away from the house and garage and toward the street or a drain before anything is poured. Where needed we add a channel drain or tie into existing drainage.

Can you match my existing concrete?

We can get close on finish and color, but new concrete always looks newer. On visible areas we often suggest replacing a full section.

Should I choose concrete or pavers?

Concrete usually costs less up front; pavers are easier to repair and handle movement better. We walk through both at the estimate.

Does a concrete driveway need sealing or upkeep?

Sealer is optional on standard gray and recommended on colored or stamped concrete to hold the color and resist oil and tire stains. Resealing every few years, cleaning up oil spills quickly and avoiding deicing salts keeps it looking good.

What is stamped concrete, and is it a good choice for a patio or driveway?

Stamped concrete is poured concrete that is colored and pressed with patterns while it is still wet, so it looks like stone, slate, brick or pavers. It is one continuous slab, so there are no joints for weeds, and it works well for patios, pool decks, walkways and driveways. It needs resealing every few years to keep the color, and repairs are harder to blend than with pavers. We show you pattern and color samples at the estimate.

How do I seal or reseal a stamped concrete patio?

Clean the surface well, let it dry fully, then roll or spray a sealer made for decorative concrete in thin coats. Most stamped patios need resealing every few years, or when the color starts to look dull. We can tell you which sealer suits your finish, and reseal it for you if you prefer.
