What matters on Pittsburg lots
- Old cracked slabs and patchy lawn are removed, and the ground is dug out and compacted before the new surface goes in.
- Pittsburg's clay soil holds water, so every patio is pitched to move water away from the house.
- Side yards and walkways are laid out to connect the front, side and back of the property.
- Being local means Alonso can come out quickly to look at the yard.
Patios & Walkways questions from Pittsburg
- Do you build patios in Pittsburg?
- Yes. Pittsburg is next to our Bay Point base and we have completed reviewed jobs here, including the side-yard makeover on our projects page.
- Pavers or concrete?
- Both can work on Pittsburg clay when the base is built properly. Our pavers vs stamped concrete guide explains the trade-offs.
- Can you replace an old concrete patio?
- Yes. We remove it, correct the grade and build the new patio on a compacted base.
- Do you handle drainage with the patio?
- Yes. Grading and drainage are planned as part of the job so water leaves the surface.
- Who does the estimate?

- How much does a patio cost?
- It depends on size, removal, access and materials. You get a free written estimate after Alonso sees the yard.

He took our general ideas and turned them into a cohesive, functional outdoor design that beautifully complements our property while staying within our budget. The craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the project were outstanding. Alonso and his team were consistently prompt and professional. Whenever unexpected issues arose, Alonso was transparent and communicated clearly about the situation, available options, and any associated costs.”
