From concrete slab to stone paver patio — with a paver step, drainage and irrigation lines

Matt's backyard had a plain concrete slab. Alfonso's crew replaced it with a stone paver patio with a contrasting border and a paver step at the back door, and ran new drainage and irrigation pipe through the yard. Matt also says Alfonso went stone shopping with him to help plan the design.

The job

The homeowner wanted to replace a plain concrete slab with a stone patio. Alfonso helped pick the stone and layout, then the crew removed the slab, laid the stone pavers with a contrasting border and built a paver step at the sliding door.

What the homeowner said

“We recently replaced our concrete slab backyard with a stone paver patio, and Alfonso and his crew were fantastic. His quote was higher than others, but he earned the job by being methodical, available, and clearly capable. One of the biggest value adds was his help with planning. He came with me to shop for stone, offered recommendations, and ultimately improved our original vision. The yard went from concrete to castle.”
