Before the winter rains
Downspout Repair, Replacement & Drain Lines in the East Bay
When a downspout dumps next to the house, or its buried line is cracked or clogged, winter rain soaks the soil at your foundation, floods side yards and undermines patios. We repair or replace the line and carry roof water to a proper outlet.
Owner Alfonso visits and prices every job himself. Based in Bay Point, serving Contra Costa and Alameda County.

Signs it needs attention
- Water pouring out at the base of the downspout
- Puddles or mud along the foundation after rain
- A buried line that backs up or overflows
- Cracked, crushed or disconnected pipes
How we fix it
- Clear or replace clogged and broken downspout lines
- New solid pipe from each downspout to a proper outlet
- Tie downspouts into a French drain or catch basins
- Re-grade soil so water moves away from the house
Questions homeowners ask
- Can you fix a downspout line that's buried under concrete?
- Often we can reroute around the slab. When that isn't possible, we cut a narrow section and patch it. Alfonso looks at it on site and explains the options.
- Where does the downspout water go?
- To a lower part of the yard, a curb outlet or another approved discharge point, depending on your lot and city rules.
- Should I do this before winter?
- Yes. Fall is the best time, before storms saturate the clay soil around your foundation.
- How much does downspout drainage cost?
- It depends on how many downspouts, how far the water has to travel, and what's in the way (concrete, plants, slopes). We give a free written estimate after seeing the property.
